1400 North Congress Avenue, Room JHR 140 Austin, TX In anticipation of the 2022 Competitive Housing Tax Credit Cycle, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs will host a seminar to cover this year's funding, some of the changes to the 2022 QAP, application submission procedures, and completing the application. The seminar will be held in Room JHR 140 of the John H. Reagan Building, 1400 North Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas at 8:30 a.m. Austin local time on Friday January 21, 2021.The presentation included in this seminar is to help explain the application process, and is NOT A RULE and it is not a policy statement. Staff and the Board make determinations on the basis of the wording of relevant statutory provisions, the QAP, and the Rules - not ancillary materials. Applicants must read and understand the rules because they are the benchmark by which all questions about the application will be determined. The presentation will acquaint you with the application and how to submit it, but it will not teach attendees how to complete the application. Every application will be different. Staff will answer specific questions about specific applications as they are received and as staff is able.
