Galveston County Justice Center Administration Building, Jury Assembly Room
600 59th Street Galveston, TX The Office of Rural Community Affairs (ORCA), in cooperation with the Texas Department of Community Affairs, is holding five (5) public hearings to obtain comments on the administration of $1.3 billion in Community Development Block Grant Program Disaster Recovery supplemental funds, which come to Texas from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Comments on the distribution of funding for ?necessary expenses related to disaster relief, long-term recovery, and restoration of infrastructure, housing and economic revitalization in areas affected by hurricanes, floods, and other natural disasters occurring during 2008? are requested at this time.
