TDHCA Headquarters
221 E 11th Street, Room 116 Austin, TX The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) believes that consultation with community advocates, funding recipients, and potential applicants for funding is an essential prerequisite to the development of effective policies, programs, and rules. In order to augment TDHCA's formal public comment process, a workgroup is utilized, affording staff the opportunity to interact more informally and in greater detail with various stakeholders and to get feedback on designing more successful programs. TDHCA programs serve urban and rural areas of the state. However, providing services and housing in rural areas presents unique challenges and opportunities. In order to address those challenges and make sure that rural input and concerns are adequately considered across all aspects of TDHCA's program development, design and implementation, TDHCA established the Rural Housing Workgroup. If you have any questions about the Rural Housing Workgroup, please contact Kate Moore at 512-936-7804 or mailto:kate.moore@tdhca.state.tx.us.Draft September 2012 Agenda- TDHCA Updates- State of Texas Plan for Fair Housing Choice: Analysis of Impediments- TDHCA Draft Single Family Rules.
