Texas Down Payment (“DPA”) and Texas First Time Homebuyer Programs Course No. 30937 Provider No. 0001

The golden Texas First Time Homebuyer Specialist designation is now available for Texas REALTORS®!

Mining for the Texas First Time Homebuyer Specialist gold is easy! Just take the Texas DPA (Down Payment Assistance) and First Time Homebuyer Programs course!

Course Elements (Details):

  • It’s free
  • 1-hour of Texas Real Estate Commission (“TREC”)-approved mandatory continuing education (“CE”) credit invaluable to Texas REALTORS®;
  • Offered by the Texas Homeownership Division of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, Texas’ only state housing finance agency.

Exchange your Gold (Benefits to Designated Texas First Time Homebuyer Specialists):

  • Offer qualified clients access to quality home loan products with down payment and closing cost assistance;
  • Get more commission when clients get more house; and
  • Connect with approved lenders and a housing counseling network, whom are worth their weight.

Learn About:

  • Texas First Time Homebuyer Programs, which are available to all qualifying Texas homebuyers, regardless of profession, using income limits up to 115% AMFI;
  • My First Texas Home Program (“TMP79”), which offers a 30-year, fixed interest rate mortgage loan program for Texas first time homebuyers;
  • Down payment and closing cost assistance up to 5% of the loan amount; and
  • Texas Mortgage Credit Certificate Program (“TXMCC”), which offers a tax credit up to $2,000 every year based on the interest paid on the homebuyer’s mortgage loan.
