Congress Avenue Austin, TX TDHCA will host a Roundtable discussion on the Staff Draft 2016 HOME Single Family Regional Allocation Formula ("RAF") prior to the release a formal draft for public comment. No registration is necessary to attend this Roundtable. Materials will be posted by Monday, June 8, 2015, on the TDHCA website (see below for link). For those not able to attend the Roundtable in person, an online discussion forum will also be available. The online discussion forum will be open from Monday, June 8, 2015, through Tuesday, June 23, 2015. The Department will only accept informal discussion regarding the Staff Draft 2016 HOME Single Family RAF at the Roundtable or via the online forum. The Draft 2016 RAF will go to TDHCA's Board on July 16th and will have a formal comment period in July and August. 07/17/2015 Texas Government Code, ?2306.111(d) and ?2306.1115 requires that TDHCA use a Regional Allocation Formula ("RAF") to allocate funding for its HOME, Housing Tax Credit, and Housing Trust Fund programs. The RAF uses appropriate statistical data to measure need for housing assistance, the availability of housing resources, and other factors relevant to the equitable distribution of housing funds in urban and rural areas of the state. The RAF is revised annually to reflect current data, respond to public comment, and better assess regional housing needs and available resources.The Draft 2016 RAF Methodology is available for official public comment from July 17, 2015, through August 6, 2015, at 6:00pm Central Time. A public hearing will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015, 2:00 p.m. Central at the Stephen F. Austin Building, Room 170, 1700 North Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701.
