Mark your calendars and join TDHCA for two webinar presentations planned in coordination with the Texas Workforce Commission to celebrate fair housing in Texas. The series will feature training sessions that are designed to introduce, add to, or refresh your general fair housing knowledge.
The webinar series is as follows:
Tuesday, April 4 from 1:30-3:00pm: Fair Housing Overview
Presented by TDHCA and the Texas Workforce Commission’s Civil Rights Division. Learn the basics about Fair Housing in Texas and apply what you learn in a review of case scenarios. This presentation will give general information about Fair Housing, including an overview of federal and state housing discrimination laws.

Tuesday, April 11 from 1:30-3:00pm: Reasonable Accommodations and Accessibility
Presented by TDHCA and the Texas Workforce Commission’s Civil Rights Division. Learn the basics about the reasonable accommodation process: What is a reasonable accommodation? How should a property respond? This presentation will include information on service and assistance animals.
