Service-Enriched Housing Videos

The Housing and Health Services Coordination Council (the "Council" or "HHSCC"), was established in 2009 and codified in Texas Government Code §2306.1091. The purpose of the council as set forth in statute, is to increase state efforts to expand Service-Enriched Housing through increased coordination of housing and health services.

Service-Enriched Housing is defined as: integrated, affordable, and accessible housing that provides residents with the opportunity to receive assistance in coordination of on-site and/or off-site health-related and other services and supports that foster independence in living and decision-making for individuals with disabilities and persons who are elderly.

The videos were produced in collaboration with the University of Texas on behalf of the Council to provide educational information about housing and services resources for people with disabilities and aging Texans.
